Hello Prospective Volunteer,

Jazz 98.5 FM needs your input and assistance! Put your skills and passion to use as a volunteer, and join the growing list of people and organizations that are helping to build our community's independent, locally programmed, non-commercial jazz radio station. This is YOUR radio station! Jazz 98.5 FM wants to insure broad participation from all members of the community to generate ideas, develop consensus, and provide assistance in fulfilling our mission. We’re looking for energetic, dependable, committed, outgoing and enthusiastic people with the right attitude to join our volunteer and intern staff in assisting our radio station with its' operations and other projects. You’ll be a part of a team helping us with our daily studio operations, as well as assist with website and social media development and other office functions.

A great way to network, make new friends, learn many facets of the radio broadcast industry, contribute your expertise and talent, and/or gain hands on experience. As a part of our volunteer team, you’ll have an opportunity to grow with us, personally and professionally.

As a community radio station, Jazz 98.5 FM is run by volunteers committed to keeping jazz alive on the radio and supporting our own local musicians. We need volunteers interested in keeping jazz music alive and on the airwaves in Columbus to join our volunteer ranks to help run the station and become involved in all of our radio station related community activities.

It is our goal to recruit, manage, train and assign all volunteers to positions that best fit your interests, skills and our available need. Volunteer opportunities and assignments will be based on your interests, skills, and experience.
